Thursday December 8, 2016

Vitamins are classified into two divisions, water soluble (not stored) and fat soluble (stored, usually in liver or in fat)

Vit. A, D, E, & K are fat solable
All others are water soluble

Most vitamins are essential, which means that your body doesn't form them, you have to get them from food or supplements.
Most diets today are deficient in vitamins and minerals because of processing of food.
Most vitamins are used as catalysts in energy and repair processes in the body.
